The Book of 121 Prayers

The Book of 121 Hoodoo Prayers” is a liturgical offering of 11 sections of 11 prayers each, reclaiming Hoodoo not as superstition or “folk magic” but as a living body of devotion, covenant, and ancestral continuity. Here, Baba Siete Saudades offers scripture written from within the tradition, not from outside of it, prefacing the prayers themselves with a treatise on prayer itself as foundational practice.

This book is historic as the first known spiritual text of Hoodoo speaking in its own voice. Unapologetically.

Sunset over the ocean with mountains in the background, and text overlay that reads 'Spiritual Diplomacy, Hoodoo Jurisprudence & Natural Law, Baba Siete, Saudades' with a white crosshair symbol.

Spiritual Diplomacy: Hoodoo Jurisprudence and Natural Law

Spiritual Diplomacy is the first work in which Hoodoo articulates itself through the language of law. In this seminal text, Baba Siete Saudades presents Hoodoo as a jurisprudential system - one governed by ancestral authority, divine equilibrium, and spiritual jurisdiction.

Drawing from natural law, African cosmology, Hoodoo traditions and precedent, as well as its intricate spiritual technologies, he establishes Hoodoo as a living court of spirit, capable of legislating order, ethics, and destiny.

Concise yet revolutionary, Spiritual Diplomacy reframes Hoodoo as both theology and polity - the self-governing wisdom of a people whose law survived the sea.
